When you sell as a seller on Amazon, your account's feedback rating matters enormously. Even when you sell in complete good faith, sometimes you still get hit with negative feedback.
Getting negative feedback is unavoidable to a degree, but what you do afterwards is what counts. Amazon feedback ties directly to sales.
Negative Amazon feedback can be removed by requesting it from Amazon

Conditions under which you can request feedback removal
Amazon's Help page states that feedback qualifies for removal when it meets the following conditions.
- The comment contains obscene or profane language.
- The comment contains the seller's personal information such as an email address, name, or phone number, or other personal information.
- The comment is entirely a product review. For example, "The ACME Super Widget wasn't as fast and sharp as the ACME Ultra Widget."
- When the order was fulfilled by Amazon: the comment concerns the delivery service of an order shipped by Amazon (FBA).
Requesting removal from Amazon
If it meets the removal conditions, go to Seller Central's Performance > Feedback page, click "Request removal" from the actions on the target feedback, and if it's judged to meet the conditions above, the feedback is removed right away.
"Are they really looking at this?" you might wonder — but it's AI making the judgment, which is presumably why the response is that fast.

If it doesn't meet the conditions, a message like the following appears and the feedback can't be removed. In that case, try another route.

Requesting removal via technical support
If the method above didn't work, open Cases in Help and you'll find a case has already been raised — and closed — regarding the request that couldn't be removed.
Reopen that case, write out reasons showing how it falls under the conditions for feedback removal, and contact technical support.
Borderline judgments the AI couldn't make get checked and decided by human eyes.
When the technical support representative judges that it qualifies for removal, you can have the feedback removed.
What matters is explaining how the customer's feedback comment falls under the conditions for removal.
Asking the customer to remove it
If requesting removal from Amazon doesn't get the negative feedback taken down, your only option left is to ask the customer who bought from you and left the feedback to remove it.
Open the order detail screen in Seller Central and you can send a message. All you can do is apologize for the cause of the negative feedback and, if the product was defective, offer a refund or similar remedy along with your request.
If the feedback simply can't be removed, the only path is to increase the number of positive ratings and bring down the proportion of negative ones.
Amazon feedback is a key factor that shapes your sales, so don't leave negative feedback alone — put in the effort to get it removed.
